Raise your own pork! Feeder pigs are 40-50 pounds, weaned and started on feed. They have been wormed and are ready to go. They are priced according to the local and Midwestern markets for pigs this size, normally around $1 per pound.

A number of our customers like to cook a whole hog in a smoker or other cooker for special occasions. These pigs are generally 50 to 100 pounds live weight. They are priced by the pound subject to market fluctuations (about $.80 per pound).

Deer hunters, too, like to get pigs this size to mix with deer meat for an excellent deer sausage or summer sausage.

We have a few pigs we raise each year that we make available to 4-H and FFA members to be used as show pigs. We are working toward a good York/Hamp/Duroc cross. We have just purchased a registered Duroc boar to sire the next generation of pigs.
