Our Mission

As parents and grandparents we are concerned about the safety of the food that our family eats. We are also concerned about a population so removed from its food sources. Many people have never visited a farm and have little understanding about where the milk, eggs, meat, fruit, and vegetables they enjoy actually come from. We are also very concerned that more and more of the food we eat is being grown and processed in other countries under unknown conditions.

IT IS OUR MISSION to produce healthy, livestock and nutrious fruits and vegetables to be processed into delicious foods that we know are  safe for our family -- and yours.  

We also work with our local Extension Service to supply show stock animals to 4-H and FFA club members. In this way we are helping the next generation of livestock producers learn the important values that go into farming.

 GOAL: The goal is to have a well-organized Farmers Market that will be consistent in the Lucedale Area for local farmers, growers or producers in George County.

 George County produce including: home grown fresh fruits, vegetables, jams, jellies, pickles, nuts, honey, eggs, herbs, baked goods, fresh ground meal, dairy, meat products, fresh-cut flowers and plants.
